Recruiting for 2004/5 begins in September.If you are interested in joining the University Air squadron then please visit us at one of our member universities' freshers' fairs. We will be present at the following universities on the following dates:
Leicester University: 30 Sept & 7 Oct
Lincoln University: 22 Sept
Loughborough University: 4-8 Oct & 10 Oct
Nottingham University: 20-22 Sept
Nottingham Trent University City Campus 27 Sept & 29 Sept
Nottingham Trent University Clifton Campus 28 Sept

Eligibility Requirements
To join a UAS you must become a member of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. This entitles you to fly in military aircraft of the RAF. As this is a branch of the British Armed Forces you must satisfy some age, educational, and nationality requirements in order to be eligible to join. Broadly speaking you must be:
a. A citizen of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth or of the Republic of Ireland.
b. An undergraduate with 2 A levels or equivalent, studying full-time for a first degree with at least 5 terms remaining before graduation.
c. Older than 17 and a half years on joining and younger than 23 and a half years old on graduation.
